The Washington State Building Council (SBCC) is a state agency that provides analysis and advice on state building code issues. The Council establishes the minimum building, mechanical, fire, plumbing and energy code requirements necessary to promote health, safety and welfare, by reviewing, developing and adopting the state building code. Jurisdictions in the State of Washington adopt and amend existing codes on a three-year cycle.
Title 10.01 of the Duvall Municipal Code is the Construction Administrative Code of the City of Duvall.

Wildland-Urban Interface Code
The Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Code is a set of regulations aimed at protecting life and property from wildland fires in areas where human development meets undeveloped land and vegetative fuels. The WUI affects the construction, alteration, movement, repair, maintenance and use of any building, structure, or premises within the wildland-urban interface areas in this jurisdiction.
