Responsibilities

The City Clerk's Office handles general office administration at City Hall. Just a sample of the duties carried out by this office include:

  • Initial public contact at City Hall
  • Preparation of City Council meeting agendas and minutes
  • Receives Citizen Action Requests
  • Manages and responds to requests for Public Records
  • Liaison with Washington State for City Business Licenses
  • Liaison with King County to issue Pet Licenses
  • Maintains Small Works Roster and Vendor List using MRSC Rosters
  • City liaison with King County Elections
  • Serves as the designated agent for receiving claims against the city
  • Manages official records including Ordinances and Resolutions
  • Custodian of contracts and agreements
  • Publishes various city publications
  • Assist in maintaining Official City of Duvall website
  • Manages Rose Room use and rental
  • Manages Special Event requests
  • Manages City of Duvall Recycling events and grants
