Amy was elected to City Council position #3 in November 2017 and again in 2021 to a four-year term as Councilmember ending December 31, 2025.

Amy served on a nonprofit preschool board for four years, volunteers in the classroom as well as with various PTSA programs and owns a small business in Duvall.

Amy served on the City of Duvall's Tree and Sensitive Area Advisory Group, working to update codes that reflect best available science and the community's vision for Duvall.
