Mike and his family have lived in Duvall since 1994. He is a retired aerospace engineering manager. He has served on the Duvall Planning Commission from 2018 until his appointment to the city council in 2022. He is also a substitute teacher in the Riverview School District. He enjoys fly fishing and other outdoor activities. He is a proponent of maintaining the small-town atmosphere enjoyed by many of the residents of Duvall.

 Mike was appointed to City Council Position 5 in November 2022 to serve an unexpired term ending in November 2023.
