[ARCHIVED] DEADLINE EXTENDED! City Council Open Position

The City of Duvall is seeking applicants to fill a position on the Duvall City Council. This is a temporary appointment and this Council position will be up for election during the November 2022 General Election. Interested citizens are encouraged to apply by the extended deadline of 3:00 p.m., December 30, 2021. 

Duvall has a mayor-council form of government with an elected mayor and a seven-member city council. City Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. preceded by a Committee of the Whole workshop at 5:30 p.m. Regular attendance at Council and committee meetings is required. In addition, there are often public meetings or special meetings on specific issues that require attendance.

In order to be eligible for a City Council seat, you must be a registered voter of the city at the time of filing your declaration of candidacy and have been a resident of the city for at least one year. 

Interested parties are required to submit an application packet including a City Council application and a letter of interest detailing your interest in being a Duvall Councilmember. For more information, contact
