The City of Duvall is currently taking applications for a position on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is made up of seven members, appointed by the Mayor, whose responsibilities include: working with staff to prepare policy documents, reviewing draft work products from staff and special committees, and making recommendations on policies to the City Council. The Planning Commission also reviews commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily land use applications for consistency with City regulations.
Planning Commission terms are four years, and meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Duvall Visitor Center. Commissioners are required to be residents of the city, live within the Duvall Urban Growth Area, or be owners of a business located in Duvall. Primary consideration will be given to applications submitted by January 8, 2015. The application packet can be found in our Document Center.
