The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator, well-grounded in the necessary operations and duties of local government with a knack for meeting the needs of the community they serve, supporting sustainable budgeting, providing strong leadership and support to staff, and excelling at employee and community relations. Additionally, the next City Administrator will be resilient, a strategic organizational leader, and demonstrate confidence, all balanced with humility and empathy for others. They will strive to support the strong Mayor and her team, while prioritizing competing responsibilities, including providing support to council and the community. The successful candidate will create and support an organizational culture that embraces diversity and fosters professionalism, honesty, creative thinking, and an enjoyable work environment.
