Options for Youth
Options for Youth to Get Around:
- Snoqualmie Valley Transportation (SVT)
- Valley Shuttle, a service that connects riders from North Bend, Snoqualmie, Fall City, Carnation, and Duvall using the Metro bus stops. Ages 5+ may ride unaccompanied.
- On all other Loops Routes and Door-to-door services, ages 10+ may ride unaccompanied.
- Youth 18 years and under can ride for free.
- Call 425-888-7001 for questions or assistance.
- Starting September 1, 2022, riders 18 and younger can take transit for free such as Link light rail, Sound Transit buses, Community Transit and other participating agencies.
- Riders age 13 and older are encouraged to show one of the following to the driver, if they have it: Youth ORCA Card or current High School or Middle School Student ID. Youth who do not have one of these can still ride for free.
- In 2023 and beyond, youth will be directed to get a Free Youth Transit Pass that allows them to tap a card—or eventually their smartphone—to access transit across the region for free.
