R.A.D. - Women's Self Defense Course
Defensive Concepts & Techniques
The R.A.D. System is a detailed and comprehensive course for women that begins with crime prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance while progressing on to the basics of self-defense.This program is dedicated to teaching defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault, but utilizing easy, effective, and proven self-defense tactics.

- What to Bring: Athletic attire is recommended; sweatpants and cross training type running shoes that provide lateral support are preferred
- Under 18: If you are under the age of 18, please bring a signed copy of the Parental Consent Form (PDF)
About the Instructors
Shelley Rowe, has been involved in this program since 2008, after getting nationally certified by R.A.D. Systems through a course taught at the University of Iowa. She has taught hundreds of students thus far and the number is continuing to grow. Read more about Shelley Rowe.
